Postal/shipping charges Australian orders Australian orders are despatched at standard postage rates via Australia Post. If products are required urgently, please indicate this by inserting a note to this effect in the Comments box on the Shopping Cart page and the order will be sent Express Post. This usually works out at only a dollar or two above standard postage rates; in some instances it is less. International orders Small orders: Single books, two or three small books (includes Birding Australia*, Daintree - Jewel of Tropical North Queensland* and most field guides), DVDs, CDs: Where the total weight does not exceed 750 gm (about 1.5 lb), these will be sent airmail. With small parcels, difference in cost between airmail and surface mail is only a few dollars. However, delivery time varies greatly - airmail (usually 6 to 10 working days to most destinations); surface mail (about 6 to 10 weeks).
